Sigh.... Got this from DropBox.....

"...On November 7, 2018 the Dropbox system requirements are changing. To make sure that your files continue to sync, you’ll need to move your Dropbox folder to a drive that meets the new requirements. ..."

Luckily, with Friend, I don't care! I still have my Dropbox "drive" access direclly from my desktop! Now I need Liberator running to access my apps that don't exist yet in Friend. I'm a patient man though????.

Liberator today needs a better admin panel to make it easier to add access and install apps from Friend, now you have to setup alot of settings both places manually. But we do have documentation for it so I'll try to figure out how far we are away from adding the option as is in the git repo. I know it was part of Q3 this year on the ICO roadmap, but the ICO have gone slower then expected we hope it will build up starting this month until December as the crypto market is also doing so.

Big long sigh..... I'm getting so sick of relying on cloud services for my data. I used to use an app for my task management which was awesome! Then of course the company folded and I moved on from app to app. My latest foray into apps resulted in my data syncing from my phone to the cloud, but not my tablet, resulting in a mess of tasks! Back to paper!

My point... WE need a MASS influx of interest in Friend! I keep envisioning the future I want in my computing experience and it increasingly points to Friend. I want control over my own data, but use that data on every device I own!

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I just wanted to rant.

I don't have any idea how to get mass adoption and interest. I know everyone is working on this and wants the same thing!

It's still early and we as a company will continue to make the product better and better no worries :) We are also going to use alot of money on marketing to get the word out once we have focused the message about what Friend is and why you should care and why it's unique and solves many things in one platform.

Thank you for this Craig. We feel the exact same way. And we're gonna deliver. And Friend will be there company or no, because we chose to go the open source route! :-)
